Hello,
Up untill now i've always been a happy man. My 1979 XS750 worked fine. But I came upon a broken spring that is quite important because it keeps my bike into a gear.
I tried to order it via an official Yamaha dealer but apparently it's not being made anymore.
Is there anyone who can help me with this. Where i can find this or maybe you have a spare one?
Niels, which spring are you after, the one on the end of the gear shift, the one on the end selector drum or the detent spring and if you know the part no of the spring I wil see what I can find out.
The part no. you are quoting is for the 850s 90508-10362.
For 750s should be 90508-10312, bad news both no.s are discontinued with no options for a replacement.
Try this lnk to NW Vintage in the USA they are showing they have 4 of the 750 springs, you should email them first as sometimes they are showing it and they cannot find the part, they take paypal.
